How It Works

How Shrang Works

Shrang helps you turn poetry or lyrics into short original music clips. You paste your text, choose a language and musical style, and Shrang creates a 30-second MP3 clip that you can download, save, regenerate, or make public.

1. Choose your lyrics language

Start by choosing the language of your poem or lyrics. Shrang currently supports Pashto, Dari Afghanistan, Farsi Iran, Urdu, Hindi, and English.

Dari Afghanistan and Farsi Iran are separate because their pronunciation, accent, and musical feeling can be different.

2. Choose a music style

After you choose a language, Shrang shows music styles related to that language. For example, Pashto includes folk, attan or wedding, slow ghazal, patriotic, romantic, and modern emotional styles.

3. Paste your original poem or lyrics

Paste a short poem or a few lyric lines. For best results, use 4 to 8 lines. Shorter text usually works better for a 30-second music clip.

4. Use Singing Version for Pashto pronunciation

Pashto pronunciation can be difficult for AI music models, especially with literary words or words that do not show short vowels clearly. For Pashto, Shrang gives you an optional Singing Version field.

In this field, you can rewrite difficult words with clearer vowel marks so the AI sings them better.

Example:

Original:
اوس نه ته ښکارې، نه اورم دې سندرې
څومره زر دې د کرکڼو وطن هېر کړو!
څومره لرې ځینې لاړې زورورې.

Singing Version:
اوس نه ته ښکارې، نه اَورَم دې سَندرې
څومره زر دې د کَرکَڼو وطن هېر کړو!
څومره لرې ځینې لاړې زورَوَرې.

5. Confirm rights and generate

Before generating, you must confirm that you wrote the text, have permission to use it, or believe it is traditional or public-domain material. Shrang creates a new original melody and does not copy existing singers, songs, voices, melodies, or recordings.

6. Listen, download, or regenerate

After the clip is ready, you will see a result page with the audio player. You can download the MP3, regenerate the same clip, edit and regenerate, or create a new clip.

7. Save and manage your clips

If you are logged in, your generated clips are saved in My Clips. From there, you can listen, download, regenerate, edit, and choose whether each clip should remain private or appear publicly in Recent Creations.

8. Public and private clips

By default, your clips are private. If you choose to make a clip public, it may appear in Recent Creations. Your full lyrics are not shown publicly.
