FAQs

What is Shrang?

Shrang is an AI music tool that turns poetry or lyrics into short original music clips. It currently focuses on 30-second clips that can be downloaded as MP3 files.

Which languages does Shrang support?

Shrang currently supports Pashto, Dari Afghanistan, Farsi Iran, Urdu, Hindi, and English.

Why are Dari Afghanistan and Farsi Iran separate?

Dari Afghanistan and Farsi Iran can have different pronunciation, accents, musical feeling, and cultural style. Shrang treats them separately to improve the music-generation result.

Why does Pashto have a Singing Version field?

Pashto pronunciation can be difficult for AI music models, especially with literary words or words where short vowels are not clearly written. The Singing Version field lets you rewrite difficult words with clearer vowel marks so the AI sings them better.

Do I need to use the Singing Version field?

No. It is optional. Use it only when you want to guide the pronunciation of Pashto words more carefully.

Can Shrang create full songs?

At this stage, Shrang creates 30-second music clips. Full songs may be added later when the technology gives reliable results for the supported languages.

Can I download the generated music?

Yes. After the clip is generated, you can listen to it and download the MP3 file.

Can I regenerate a clip?

Yes. You can regenerate the same clip, or edit the original text, style, or voice preference and generate a new version.

Where are my clips saved?

If you are logged in, your clips are saved in My Clips. You can download, regenerate, edit, and manage the public or private status of each clip.

Are my clips public?

No. Clips are private by default. A clip appears in Recent Creations only if you choose to make it public.

Will my full lyrics be shown publicly?

No. Public clips show the audio and basic clip information, but not the full submitted lyrics.

Can I use copyrighted lyrics?

You should only submit text that you wrote, have permission to use, or believe is traditional or public-domain material. You should not submit copyrighted lyrics without permission.

Can I ask Shrang to copy a famous singer?

No. Shrang is designed to create new original melodies and arrangements. It should not be used to imitate real singers, existing songs, voices, melodies, or recordings.

Can Shrang create reels or videos?

Not yet. Reel and video creation is planned for a later version. The goal is to let users create vertical videos using generated music, images, captions, and lyrics.
